Why Oh Why Are We Ruled by These Idiots (Col. Wilkerson Edition)
Here is the video of Colonel Wilkerson's shrill speech at the New America Foundation. Here is the full transcript.
One sample:
"On Condi Rice's new flexibility: I have a Rasputin version, a cynical version, and I think a more realistic version. One, she's more intimate with the president. Unquestionably. Two, the administration finds itself in some desperate straits.... A *wide* gap between the State Department and the White House.... Because of her intimacy... desperate straits... unwillingness to take on anything new... haven't heard anyone say they want a war in North Korea recently.... Public Diplomacy: broken.... As an Egyptian friend told me, 'It's hard to sell shit.'"
>'It's hard to sell shit'. <
Well, there sure were a lotta folk around these parts buyin' sh*t in 2000 and agin' in 2004. Was it sh*t then, or just a goo that has turned to sh*t now?

"It's hard to sell shit"
Nonsense. Just mark it "Buy 2, Get 1 FREE!!!" and you will triple your sales.
Not only that, but the buyers will brag that they got it at half price.

Hell I hate, "to tell you", but shit selling is really easy to sell here.
We the people buy it all the time!..hell we are ruled by idiots because we have a country fall of nut's and total fools, we need our borders closed and our government needs the borders opened for dismantling reasons and in the end "you", The Fools will pay for not understanding what will happen to you and your kids inside a third world so called USA.
SEE IT FOR WHAT IT IS AND NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT SHOULD BE.

Sorry, but I have to repeat my earlier comment here simply in order to stop any effort to venerate Wilkerson as a member of the esteemed order of the shrill (Krugman wing):
Wilkerson and his boss Colin Powell are certainly no paragons of virtue or of courage.
They had every chance to prove themselves during the actual process that Wilkerson now decries when they were actually in a key position to be able to make a difference to the outcome.
Now that it is safe for them to speak out and because of the increasing public exposure of their own compromised position, they seek to cover their tracks by appearing to be on the side of the angels.

Powell thinks his loyalty is some kind of integrity. In truth, he enabled all this. Powell's unfounded reputation gave these idiot the cover they needed.

Why did Wilkerson use "intimacy" three times to describe Rice's relationship with the President?

Bear in mind Powell has distanced himself from Wilkerson, despite how desperately the press wants this rant to come from a "Powell aide."
