Omaha!
Why is Sarah Palin spending tomorrow in Nebraska?
Because the McCain campaign is scared that they might lose Omaha--and its electoral vote.
Electoral College: Nebraska... [has] a tiered system where a single elector is chosen within each Congressional district [by popular vote] and two electors are chosen by statewide popular vote...

Omaha is only 10% Black.

Aside from the electoral vote in Nebraska, Palin may also be trying to win over voters just across the river in Iowa.

Ask me how I feel in a week just to be sure, but right now, I feel pretty damn good. McCain has, of course, pulled out of Michigan, but he's also being forced to spend resources not just in North Carolina, but Indiana. Those two states are a combined twenty-six votes in the Electoral College.
I don't think we've sealed the deal just yet, but we're getting there. How do I think we're getting closer? How do I think that McCain's on the run? As Chuck Todd said, he's going to be spending time in Missouri in the next couple of days. At this point, Missouri should be easy for McCain.
Even with the foray into trying to get one of Maine's votes, it looks like McCain's camp is fighting a losing battle.
