Steven Branchflower on Sarah Palin
http://media.adn.com/smedia/2008/10/10/16/Branchflowerreport.source.prod_affiliate.7.pdf:
I find that Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a)... [which] provides....
[E]ach public officer holds office as a public trsut, and any effort to benefit a personal or financial interest through official action is a violation fo that trust....
I find that... Walt Monegan's refusal to fire Trooper Michael Wooten was... likely a contributing factor to his termination as Commissioner of Public Safety...

As of 1045 PM Eastern time, there is NOTHING on Drudge or NRO-The Corner about the Palin troopergate report. Total denial. Jonah Goldberg just posted about Larry King. I guess the agit prop brigade of fighting keyboarders is waiting for the McPalin Central Committee to decide what utterly absurd spin to put on this news. I expect more Ayers, Acorn, yada yada. Problem for them is, after two yrs on public view, there is nothing there.

It's Todd Palin's involvement that concerns me most. If he gets involved in little things like this, what would he be like if she were VP??

Todd Palin: high school grad, hourly oil worker, sometime fisherman, and snowmobile racer, and hitman and assistant for his wife, the potential VP of the USA. Just what we need for all those simple problems of this century, like market and banking meltdowns and nuclear threats.

See what happens when they let "Joe Six-pack", union guy like Todd Palin get involved in government? Wives and "First Dudes" have no business in politics. Next thing you know he'll be trying to run for some high office, claiming he has "experience".

first thought, best thought: some of us concluded within hours of mccain's selection of palin that she was a disaster.
