Associate Haas Dean Jay Stowsky writes:
I’m writing to ask a huge favor. We have invited Mark Hurd, the chairman, CEO, and president of Hewlett-Packard, to give a speech at Haas on October 8 at 12:30, and demand is so great that we would very much like to move the talk into the Anderson Auditorium. Would you be willing to move your undergraduate course to an alternate location on October 8 to help us out? We have reserved the Chevron Auditorium at I House for this purpose. We will of course pay the rental charge. Our events manager, Meg Fellner, will gladly work to help you with any needed adjustments, AV issues, etc.) and any other special needs that might arise. Your help on this would be deeply, deeply appreciated.
Best,
Jay
